Movie Review : Rise of the Planet of the Apes

Watch Rise of the Planet of the Apes at Sunway Pyramid yesterday.The only movie about ‘Monkeys’ Congo where i watched it when i’m still a kid and upon finding related movies to the exact keywords – ‘Planet of the Apes’, there were like 5 films made in the 1970s and 1 in 2001!!

Well this movie is not directly related to the ones made back in 1970s but it’s really interested to see it coming out of Hollywood. It seems like they have a certain liking towards ‘monkeys’. It’s actually reported to be the prequel of the ‘Apes’ movie done back in 2001 and it seems like they’re gonna do a second part after this.

I kinda felt that something is missing in the story line and some parts weren’t needed there. Would love to go deeper into the story with more development hmmm.

 
Apart from the graphics, the whole movie didn’t really stand out if you ask me. Still watchable, just wished the ending wasn’t made that way.
